Astrid Klopsch, Chief Conductor
Astrid founded Little Engine in 2005, after seeing just how many organizations needed extra assistance managing events and other initiatives. Her favorite part about what she does is being able to come in and help marketing groups when they need it most - and coming up with the strategies that make it all successful. Like Indiana Jones, her childhood role model, Astrid believes that there is a solution to almost any challenge - and she prides herself on keeping a cool head, no matter how stressful the situation gets.
In her free time, Astrid spends a lot of time exploring the world with her family - traveling, paddleboarding and mountain biking or volunteering.
Chris Dyer, Senior Conductor
Chris joined Little Engine in 2018 bringing with him experience in communications, events and project management. His career started at Microsoft, where he was an employee for sixteen years all within the event marketing discipline in varying program management capacities. In 2012 he decided to venture off to Boeing, where he managed internal communications and marketing for the Learning, Training and Development organization. Chris specializes in client relations; careful to understand the ultimate goal of the customer and effectively utilizing human resources, leveraging processes and tools, saving significant investment up front all while deepening integration across organizations. Chris is the consummate team player and teammate, his professional behavior, find-a-way work ethic and pleasant demeanor are embedded into every task. And like his co-worker, Jenny, he thrives on the unpredictable chaos of any situation, even the most ambiguous.
In his free time, Chris drives his kids everywhere; from soccer to basketball to the bus stop and anywhere and everywhere in between. Chris doesn't have a minute to himself, but if he did, he would workout, re-join his rowing team, ski, read books and play more pickleball.
